Emily Rosemond (born 11 March 1986 in Cairns) is an Australian Short Track Speed Skater, who represented Australia at the 2006 Winter Olympics before switching to Track Cycling. Rosemond won National Championships in Speed Skating from 2005 - 2007 before retiring from Speed Skating, stating she "fulfilled her dreams in this sport (Short Track)" Rosemond was given the Keys to the City of Brisbane in 2006 after her Olympic debut at the age of 19 years.
Emily Rosemond made her Olympic debut as a short track speed skater at the 2006 Torino Winter Olympics. She contested the 1000m and 1500m, finishing 12th and 25th respectively. Rosemond's short track career was interrupted by a ACL rupture, allowing her just six World Cup meets in two seasons prior to the Torino Games. Before the injury, at only 16 years of age she had finished in 32nd place overall on the 2002/03 overall World Cup standings, and although it took her some time to find her form when she returned to the circuit in the 2005/06 season, she soon demonstrated her potential. Rosemond retired from short track speed skating in 2008, switching to cycling.
She also represented Australia in Track Cycling. She made her first Australian cycling team in the 2008/09 season where she won a Silver medal at the 2008 World Cup in Melbourne, Australia in the Team Sprint, she also won the Oceanic Games in the Sprint, Kierin and Team Sprint Events before competing at the World Championships in Copenhagen in 2009. In the 2009 at the UCI Melbourne World Cup in Track Cycling she continued her progression winning a silver medal in the Women's Team Sprint with her now fiancé Kerrie Meares.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Emily Rosemond )〕〔(【引用サイトリンク】publisher=Australian Olympic Committee )〕 At the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, India she advanced through to the finals of the Women's Sprint and won a bronze medal.

She had Shoulder surgery in 2012 to repair her injuries but could not recover in time to resume training within a 12-month period. For a full list of her career results across both sports see Career Highlights.
Following retirement, Rosemond took up a position with Cycling Queensland, based in Brisbane, Queensland. She is the Co-Director of Repsych Cycling Development, a Cycling Coaching Company - (www.repsych.com.au ).
